Write marketing communications about Access and Government products. Write Press Releases. Manage Trade shows and events. Manage the relationship with our advertising firm and help to manage the projects they are doing for us.

E-Commerce Specialist - Creator and Manager of the Smart Cards web store (http://www.scmegastore.com).
Design store. Add product, pricing, and discount information as needed. Train and then supervise employees to fulfill and ship orders. Manage this 1.4 million dollar business.
Supervise a technical writer. Gather statistics from the web sites and web store for Marketing purposes. Make presentations about the web store. Redesign
and maintain the Java Card Forum web site (http://www.javacardforum.org). Redesign and maintain the Schlumberger (and then Axalto after the IPO) public Smart Cards
web sites. (http://www.cryptoflex.slb.com, http://www.cyberflex.slb.com,http://www.reflexreaders.com)

Technical Writer - Learn, analyze, and test software and hardware under development for a satellite communications group. Make recommendations for improvements and report any bugs found. Test installation kits on various operating systems before releasing to the Quality Assurance group. Compile information from code, hands-on hardware investigations and interviews with engineers. Prepare text for hardware, programming, reference, maintenance and software manuals. Write manuals in both hardcopy and on-line formats. Proofread and edit manuals. Publish all documentation on the www in HTML, PDF and WORD formats. Distribute documentation on CD-ROM.
On-line Help: Create all on-line help for the software for our group using RoboHELP. Also create context sensitive help. Currently writing a style guide for Schlumberger Help for the
Acquisitions department.
Technical Support: Provide technical support for field personnel.
Webmaster: Webmaster of the second largest Schlumberger Austin site. Designed, created and implemented this site, using NetObjects Fusion. Currently co-authoring a document to create
web standards for Schlumberger Austin.
User Interface Design: Design user interface template for Satellite Communications software product that runs on the WWW. Help with the user interface design of all other software
developed in my group. Evaluate the graphics in the user interface and also evaluate for usability.
Write and Produce Videotapes for Marketing presentations to clients. Create training materials in both on-line and multimedia formats. Created a training CD
(the TransACT training CD) to train users to use complicated satellite communications software.
Graphics Design: Design and draw (or photograph with a digital camera) all technical diagrams for my group's documentation and web site. Create icons, logos, and splash screens for
the products. Counsel other groups in the center on graphics design.
